I was reporter for eight years in Washington, D.C., covering topics ranging from international-trade policy to bankruptcy court cases, legislation and trends. During that time, my articles appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones Newswires, Dow Jones Daily Bankruptcy Review and Inside U.S. Trade. I won two William R. Clabby Dow Jones Newswires Awards for my work and was part of a team that won a Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Award for best newsletter. I also moderated panel discussions at conferences.
Now, I focus on writing about traveling and issues impacting families. I chronicle my Navy family’s journey moving, living and traveling around the world at the blog My Traveling Troop.
