Hello and Happy Monday, my dear readers! Did you have a lovely weekend?
I went on a free cultural tour of Singapore, which is offered to U.S. military families who are new to the city-state. I visited a number of attractions during the tour, including a wet market in Little India and a lantern-decorated Chinatown. Along the way, I got a first hand glimpse of the Singapore's cultural diversity (the majority of the population here consists of Chinese, Malays and Indians). I also learned interesting facts about the country and its people. I plan on sharing photos and the interesting tidbits that I learned on the tour throughout the week. Stay tuned!
Cheers,
Kristina
