Moving Mondays: Watch Out Singapore!

Monday, September 17, 2012
Dancers perform a Kurdish dance in front of the Asian Civilisations Museum in Singapore.

Since moving to Singapore, My Traveling Troop has been trying to see various attractions. Some we discover while wandering around, while others -- like our trip to the Asian Civilisations Museum -- are planned visits requiring us to take a taxi, bus or train to our destination. While public transportation in Singapore is an affordable way to travel, there are days when we don't feel like waiting for a taxi, bus or train in the tropical heat. Thankfully, we won't have to rely solely on those modes of transportation for much longer. I took a driver's license test today after attending an orientation about Singapore's driving rules and passed! Hooray! Now all I have to do is buy a car and make sure I remember to drive on the left-hand side of the road. Watch out Singapore! :)

Cheers,
Kristina

congrats on passing the drivers test! I don't know how I would do with driving on the left side of the road.
