As My Traveling Troop pushed through the throngs of people heading into Lucky Plaza, we felt as if we had been transported to the Philippines. The majority of the people inside and outside of Lucky Plaza appeared to be Filipino, shopping for food and products from their home country. But the mall is actually located on Singapore's Orchard Road and we heard we could find good Filipino food there. (Thanks for the recommendation, dad!) My Traveling Troop eventually found a cafeteria-style restaurant on one of Lucky Plaza's top floors that served some of our favorite dishes, including sinigang, chicken adobo, beef steak and beef caldereta. The food was a nice reward for braving the crowds.
Cheers,
Kristina

I've always been fascinated with Singapore - since I learned in middle school that chewing gum was illegal there because they want it to be so clean :D
