Where In The World Is My Traveling Troop?

Monday, July 9, 2012
Since I haven't blogged for a week, you're probably wondering "Where in the world is My Traveling Troop?" Well, I'll give you three hints. We just moved to a Southeast Asian city-state just south of Malaysia.

You can dine, shop and take boat tours along the river in an area known as Clarke Quay.

The island country is known for the diversity of its people and food.

If you crave Chinese, Malaysian, Indian or any other type of food while here,
you're in luck. There are plenty of eating establishments in this country offering them all,
including fine-dining restaurants, hawker stands and food courts.

You can also shop until you drop here.

Orchard Road is not only lined with malls featuring high end stores
like Louis Vuitton and more affordable options like Zara.

If you guessed that My Traveling Troop is in Singapore, you are correct! We arrived last week and are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to live here for the next few years. We plan on seeing as many as sights and attractions as possible during our stay. We also can't wait to take advantage of Singapore's close proximity to other Asian countries, which will make it easy for us to travel and explore them too. Stay tuned!

Cheers,
Kristina
