Moving Mondays: Visiting Family
One of My Traveling Troop's priorities before we move overseas for a few years is visiting family. After all, it may be awhile before we see them again. My mom and sister recently visited us in Monterey, Calif. And now my daughter and I are in Georgia spending quality time with my dad, stepmom, sister and in-laws. So far, we've swapped stories while dining on amazing meals and survived the Georgia heat with the help of sprinklers and a bathing suit. My daughter and I also got to witness a couple of special occasions such as my sister Sam getting confirmed in the Catholic Church and winning "Most Improved Player" on her varsity basketball team. (Way to go, Sam!).
